ngc 3576 , freedom and liberty

Post by yobbo89 »

The great statue , we may not have our own statue of liberty down here but we have one that looks like it and will last for just about forever :)

A little follow up, i've been very overwhelmed in this hobby and i've had a little break , it is hard work especially doing long shifts and doing this straight after work with little sleep.i've gone back into my electronics hobby for a little bit, lots of soldiering electronic components ,i'm currently building a 1987 amiga 500 from scratch with a re-spun mobo with 90% new parts , still in search for an original cpu and some Miscellaneous ,the rare parts are slowly being replaced by new custom chips, there's over 400 parts to soldier!, it's a big project ,the purches parts list is relentless ..

any how i have a short sky time atm due to rain .

Hi Rob. A superb NGC 3576 mosaic image, and no signs of stitching. I really enjoy the amount of nebulosity and details. Thanks for giving a look at your nice work Rob, and congratulations on winning the TSS APOD Award today.

Great shot and processing. Congrats on the APOD

My electronics hobby goes back many years right when CMOS chips arrived on the scene. I've built many things including mobile phone systems, morse code keyer for amateur radio, RTTY decoder, slow scan TV. My son collects many of the video games, consoles and computers of that era but I not sure about the Amiga.

This is a fantastic image!
     Image
I much enjoy B&W astrophotography, especially if it has plenty dynamic range like this image does. Colour would only distract here.

Great job, Rob.
