The Crab Nebula (M1) in SHO

The famous Crab Nebula (Messier 1, NGC1952) is a supernova remnant and pulsar wind nebula in the constellation of Taurus. It is shown here in SHO (Hubble Palette).

Imaged on a C11" EdgeHD @ native f/10 using Chroma filters with a ZWO ASI294mm Pro. This was 10.2 hrs total integration from 300s subs.

Thanks all for the compliments. The palettes does show a lot of detail, especially up close, even if one does not generally like the look of color palettes. I got lucky with a couple of good nights of seeing to do this at f/10.

Ram- I could not stop laughing when you said protein structures. That is true but it reminds me of neurons in the brain as I am a neuroscientist. :smile:
