SHO version of Flaming Star + Tadpoles Nebulae

#1

Post by STEVE333 »

Was able to capture 4 hours of S2 data last night to complete the data for an SHO version of this target. The HOO version has already been posted. I think this is only my second or third SHO image (usually only capture Ha and O3) so still learning the processing. However, some recent tutorials here on the forum have helped greatly.

18x600 sec Ha, 24x600 sec O3, 24x600 sec S2 (Total Exposure 11 hr).
WO Star71 telescope, ASI1600MM camera (-15C, Gain=140), CEM40 mount, Chroma 3 nm S/H/O filters
Controlled with APT, Guided with PHD2, Processed with PixInsight
LRGB_EZ_LRGB_USM.jpg
Hope you like it.

For just learning, looks pretty darn nice!

Really a nice pretty image Steve. I really like the coloration and fine detail. Thanks!

Oops - I accidentally posted the original HOO version. Here is the NEW SHO version.
SHO_EZ_LRGB.jpg
I like this version a lot better.

Sorry for the confusion.
