SHO captured through the smokey skies of Southern CA. I'm still trying to get the traditional tones nailed down. it's been tough, but in the mean time here's a dark, evil Wizard for your consideration.

That is a great image. The dark background is a nice around the reds and blues. Just in time for Halloween.

Pulling out the subtlety of the colour range on the dark side is very effective. Congrats on the APOD.

I especially like the fire-glow color on the edges. Does make the Wizard look more threatening.
