We have had an amazing string of moonless and cloudless and fogless nights here in Santa Cruz. So far 5 nights in a row with tonight predicted to be the same. I've managed to get out 4 of the 5 nights and hope to get out tonight again. Would somebody mind getting some sleep for me?!?!? :asleep:

This is an Ha image of the Heart Nebula. There was quite a bit of smoke in the air (first time I actually smelled smoke for at least two weeks) but thought I would give it a try anyway. Glad I did!

Image Details:
WO Star71 telescope, ASI1600MM camera, Chroma 3nm filter
Controlled with APT, Guided with PHD2
24 x 600 sec Lights.
Processed in PixInsight (MasterDark and MasterFlat)

Hope to capture some Oiii tonight an maybe some Sii in the future (weather permitting).

Thanks for looking.

Steve
