Ok, but I think the stars are a bit saturated on the red side of the scale.

I took what AutoColor in PixInsight provided.

You're right though Joe, it is a bit on the reddish side. That function works well to tame the background and then adjusts the color accordingly after that. I've used it both during linear and non-linear editing, each providing slightly different results.
