Feels like I´m up to speed again now with this season just starting. Managed to get 4 clear nights since mid August so I´ve gathered a total of 15 hours of data for this region. Still having issues with star shapes at the edges. Tilt or maybe a poor flattener, I don´t know. Still turned out nice with some cropping.
That is a beautiful image. Fifteen hours on the target is great. The stars are round over the entire image, and the structure in the nebula is very nice.

Actually the stars are quite bad (flared) towards the corners but it´s not that visible in this cropped and resized version.
Hey Martin...tell me about bad stars at the corners!! I just got an ASI6200MM and have been fighting for 2 weeks....that huge sensor is VERY UNFORGIVING when it comes to optical train spacing!! I think that’s a GREAT IMAGE!! I can’t wait to get some clear skies now that my spacing problem is finally solved. Glad you’re getting some clear skies!! I’ve missed your excellent images!
Great Job!!

Thanks Tom, I really appreciate that!
The problem with the stars is that I´m not if the problem is spacing or that the flattener is not really that good. Or if I´ve got tilt somewhere.
How did you solve your problems?
I called Al Nagler since the camera is on my NP127IS and he worked it out on his computer!! I still may have a little tilt but I was just SO THRILLED to have round stars (still a minor adjustment needed)! I had to order a custom spacer from Precision Parts cause with the 2.4” Image train on the NP127IS I’ve got a lot of vignette because I have to use an M42 connector to get the camera to connect to the scope. Until I get that I won’t know if I have any tilt. If you’ve got symmetrical distortion in all 4 corners it’s spacing.

Hi Martin. This is a fantastic IC1318 (Butterfly Nebula) in NB Light. I love the colors and fine details that you brought out in your processing. This was a well spent 15 hours Martin, and congratulations on winning the TSSAPOD Award today.
