Hi Guys,

I wanted to share my first astrophoto since I moved. I feel like my processing skills are improving, but still not as good as I'd like it to be. I think its a lot better than some of my other pictures, after following word-for-word ip4ap.com's narrowband processing tutorials (with a bit more noise reduction). I probably could've used more data, its only about an hour's worth for each filter. If you guys have any suggestions, I would be very grateful!

Since you asked for suggestions you could increase the color saturation a bit. Use CurvesTransformation with the "S" button chosen. I think you will like the result.

Congratulations on your new location. I lived in Irvine a little over 40 years ago. We enjoyed our stay. Probably wouldn't recognize the area any more with all the growth.

I agree with Steve333 to give it a bit of saturation to make it pop a bit more, as you've asked for CC. I might give it a bit more black.

I am always nervous to increase the saturation, because it brings out a lot of the noise, but how is this?

Fatboy! Long time no chat! Hope the family is good.

I'm in la habra, whereas before I was in la mirada, they are just down the street from each other--both next to Irvine. It is a little tiny bit darker where I am now, but not much to make a massive difference. I am going on a camping trip tomorrow, hoping the clouds don't get in the way so I can get get my first dark-sky shots! Finally get to use those LRGB filters

I can't wait to see what you get up to now that you're back in it!
