So the June gloom finally departed just in time for the full moon. Spent the long weekend playing with my L-Enhance filter which I got just ahead of galaxy season. So now with all the nebula out I'm finally getting around to exercising it. I'm really impressed by how much cleaner the data is..... now I can really appreciate the power of Narrowband.
This image is about 70 frames at 240s. Still learning how to process. I did notice that pushing the red more towards a yellow hue brought out more details...helps me understand the Hubble palette.
That other breakthrough with this shot is that I ran the entire session thru SGP. I figure if I do eventually move to narrowband I'm going to need some automation or I'll never sleep.
One question on my stars. Can any StarTools user offer any suggestions on how to get rid of some of the ringing around my stars?
Thanks all.

Beautiful image "SF". The Elephants Trunk stands out nicely.
When I was using a similar duo-band filter I also had problems with "halos" around the brighter stars. I never could get rid of them. I don't know if it was reflections in the filter or what. Hope you can figure it out.
Congratulations on getting SGP up and running. I'm using APT. I think you will enjoy getting to learn how much a program like that can do for you.
Cheers,
Steve
