Arp 125 consists of UGC 10491 (VV 501 and others), the peculiar galaxy above PGC 58674. These are part of Arp’s ‘E and E-like Galaxies – Close to and Perturbing Spirals’ class and appear to be approximately 391 million light-years away in Hercules. Depend on the source, the system also contains more galaxies – I can see three or four.
Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours
