Another widefield image with all these clear unprecedented nights we have been having here in the UK.

Taken from Home, Bortle 8 March 2020 over 2 nights
Ha 21 x 600
Oiii 4 x 450secs binned + 7 x 300secs binned
Sii 10 x 300 secs binned + 4 x 450secs binned
RGB 5 x 150 each (for stars)
Samyang 135mm F2 Stopped down to F2.8
Atik460EX and Baader filters
on HEQ5

Beautiful capture. I'm not familiar with this DSO, or familiar enough to have attempted to image it. I'll have to track it down with the GoTo and hope I can get some sort of images vis a vis Stakker-Lite. At magnitude 6.5 that should be within the reach of my equipment and imaging techniques. I have a 1990s Canon 85mm EF f/1.8 lens I purchased "like new" several months that should give me a similar widefield look at the region.

Hello Carole,

fantastic capture of thei faint nebula with the Cederberg glowing inside, and the Berkeley pinpoints.
There are quite a few Little Rosettes in the night skies, but yours is also very nice!

Yes I did Steve, I also had to wait for it to rise above the houses!!!

5 nights on the trot staying up until dawn started (around 3.15am), we are now all exhausted in the UK and glad of some decent nights sleep ha ha.
