No. I took separate subs in RGB and added them in over a starless version of the nebula.

So you did kind of strip the stars out then added the RGB subs (with the stars) in.

I only ask because it came out so nice and Might want to try something like this.

Yes, that is my usual process unless I forget to take the RGB stars .
