It's 8400% so 84x maybe?

But no. Not interested. I have 10x50 binoculars so no need for a 50mm monocular.

If it is as good as they state why are they not showing views through it?
Sounds like a bunch of wishful thinking to me.

If you want to see a good example of marketing BS watch the video in the first link, it shows a bird on the screen and him taking a picture one handed and tapping the screen.
The picture on the screen never moves even though the camera is.

Even the posted reviews say nothing about the product, they just highlight the marketing of it.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

WOW....
Jake On September 6th 2019
If you can still do the buy 2 get 1 free, do it. You only pay about $25 dollars a unit.

Quality Product - Cant find this in stores...
Greg On September 3rd 2019
Can't go wrong with it. Especially for it's price

Fits on all my Phones
Stan On September 1st 2019
I love this little device. I can use it on all the cell phones in my household that my family use.

I think they need a larger shovel to move all of the bull that is piling up...

Strangely, they won't guarantee that you can see the moon with it:
From the FAQ:
"Can I use the Starscope Monocular without a phone?"
"Yes, the monocular is a fully-functional telescopic monocular. You can hold it up to your eye and see things over 50 miles away!"
Ha ha ha...

Yeah...watching that video, outside of the moon and a jet, looks like the producer of the video was pushing this to nothing more than perverts wanting to check out hot babes. What was with that? Kind of reminds me of the old "x-ray" glasses that was suppose to strip clothes off everybody. Geeesh!

Interesting though not to the standards of the over marketted device under discussion :)
I am sure under some circumstances and with practice these can be used reasonably effectively with cell phone cameras
