Due to some back problems I decided to go lighter. Sold all med Celestron HD8 equipment and my ASI1600MM and replaced it with lighter scope and new camera. Got a TS-Optics 70 mm f/5 Quadruplet Flatfield Apo and the ASI294MM. The skies where I live are now moving towards “summer” mode, midnight sun and so on, so I have to wait a couple of months to try it. I’ll you use the time to get everything connected and tested, looking forward to first light. My setup is now:
Hopefully the new lighter system works well for you, enjoy when you can.

I understand completely. I made a similar choice myself. The best telescope is the one that gets used. I can lift 35kg from the box. Putting it back without dropping it is much harder.
