Re: Extra Counterbalance for Guidescope
Don't forget, you always have the option to get boom microphone stand counterweights. Because they are not "Astro" gear, they are a lot less expensive. And they work just as well on an EQ mount, I know because I own both of these. Here they are: https://www.adorama.com/ostcw3.html?gcl ... yYQAvD_BwE
and this one too: https://www.adorama.com/ostcw6.html?ori ... irect=true
Cheers,

That's a good option. The 6lb one would have done the trick. I used 2.5kg from a 7kg roll for £27.00.
At least I've got some lead left over for fishing weights for when the new communication constellations are all operational and we all have find a new hobby.
Regards
Graeme

Re: Extra Counterbalance for Guidescope
I just bought mine from B&H Photography. They offer free expedited shipping on most orders over $49. I added a pack of lens cleaners, good for eye pieces.
