Hi there ,im into some small improvments off my telescope,,,and the question is--vantablack 2.0 or black 3,0-- inside the tube? trying to figure out the advanteges between the two-colours---vantablack 2,0 is not the real vantablack--which must be in a sort off upheating process to be activated--.vanta black 2,0 an black 3,0,,is for official use and friendly fot the wallet-and can ba applied with airbrush or a paint brush--Black 3,0 eliminate light with over 99 procent and the vantablack 2,0 is around middle 90 something--its a sort off achrylic paints,,---maybe some faults in the information,,feel free to correct--so what colour and why---?

Flocking, Krylon Ultra Flat Black or Chaulkboard Black will work fine for blackening the telescope tube interior.

I have ordered an stuart semple black 3.0 to test and see if the straylight will be damped more as ive noticed i have some issue with the o3 filter with gradients in my subs. Dont know if its straylight thats affecting but i will test and see if the paint have any effect on it.

I have looked at the krylon paint,,,but it think il go at the 2,0 or 3,0 black colour...if the colours have the same propertiess,,il go for the 3,0--problaby its going to eliminate every reflex off light it will be painted on..i think--

The Black 3,0 paint is on its wayyyyy,,------you will put that on with many thin layers, its beter, then one thick one..and you can also put some water in it or a part off it,,to thin it out..--.,approxomaly 20 hours to dry--think i will thin the first layers out with little water..i dont know what area a bottle off 150ml will be god for,,but the vantablack 2,0 150ml will fit for 2,5 m in square without dillution...problaby the black 3,0 will be close to that--i will go with a fine small paint brush--i got the time..

I am very interested in seeing these images and the account of your process, Apollo.
These little modifications are fun and effective at little expense and high education value. 😊

Bresser 152mm f7.9...nice stuff. I have seen a 152mm bresser f7.9 up close and I can say that it delivers great pictures to the observer. It's a monster!!!

And heres how the front lens housing is attached at least on This Bresser, mark it up with some tape on on the tube and on the begining off the front plastic spoiler..,Slide the front shield out pull and wiggle it out --no tools needed there,Then ,Just take the four philiphs screws out,,They are in the round holes..And slide carefully the lens house out,,Dont drop it and dont fiddle around with fingers on the lens.Reverse procedure when you pull it together again.
