Hello all,
I have simplified theDob mount into individual pieces(4) to have more space in the car to travel comfortably with my family,combining the hobby. It only takes five minutes to assemble.

That is really well done! I have the same scope from a trade, and it needed some help 
The base was rotted at the bottom, and during the rebuild of that, I toyed with the idea of making it easier to transport using the idea you have done, but I wasn't sure it would work. You have proved that it does; thank you for that!

W/L - C80-HD with Baader 5.0 & 3.8 Solar film, Solar Continuum 7.5nm and UV/IR filters with a Canon EOS 550D.
