Finally a little clear sky

After yet another week of craptastic Midwest weather, the clouds started to part early this morning. Figured it was too close to dawn to take out a scope, so I used my 10x50s to wander around Sco, Aql, and Cyg. Nothing exceptional to note aside from M4 not being visible even though transparency looked pretty good.

Also noted that my limiting visual magnitude here looks to be maybe 3.8 or so, based on the fleeting visibility of Zeta UMinor.

It was nice albeit brief escape from virus news.

It's going on a month here now since the last clear night. Almost a full moon cycle, and still no break in sight.

Frustrating given that I am working from home now and have not much to do with my free time.

Was able to get my 90 Mak out again last night.
