STF 201 (Eps Tri) and STF 310 in Triangulum Dec 3, 2019

6" f/8 triplet apo

STF 201 - mags 5.5,11.4 - sep 4.2" PA 119. I saw the companion as a tiny speck to the ESE of the primary in moments of good seeing. Confirmed the PA later. Used a 7mm Delite for 173x.

STF 310 - mags 7.4, 10.4 - sep 2.2" PA 92. I had to up the power to 243x (5mm Pentax XW) for this companion to show. I estimated the PA at 85 deg, close to the W.D. Catalog 92 deg.

These were both difficult, but STF 201 was more difficult than STF 310. The seeing was variable. I had to wait for the right moments to see these faint companions. They would blink in and out.
