Re: Too Much Glass
Nice session and report Mark and congrats on the mystery nebula. Too much glass - no such thing! More like not enough glass. I had same dilemma in the past and used to alternate scopes on my trips. I resolved it by getting SW Skytee2 mount - now I can load as many scopes as I want.

Funny when you think about the fact they must have seen the Pleiades and Merope too, thousands of years ago. I wonder what they were thinking about it, I think a special meaning, maybe the beginning of the Winter-season or even much deeper thoughts...
I don't think they were philosophizing about too much glass....
Thanks for your nice and readable report.
No philosophy on glass here either.
My title was a bit tongue in cheek.
This really is about expectations, and inexperience...both were mine, and both were lacking.
But I still had fun.
Thank you John.

Unfortunately my power box took a dump in July and I have not replaced it.
I will do.
I know I could drive it manually, but...
I have been out many times with the LXD75 and the CG4 but on this outing I was lazy and suffered the consequences.
I am always learning something.
Tonight I have good skies and in about an hour I will load the AR152 in the van .
