Epsilon Lyrae today

A tropical +4*F this morning, so I moved my 80mm over to the sliding glass door to my deck. Not expecting much through the doublepane glass, I admired Vega for a time and then tracked down M13. As expected, M13 was not that great but not that bad either. The geometry was wrong for Izar, so I took a peek at Alphecca and then slewed back over to ε Lyrae.

I was able to split it pretty well with my 6mm SLV which was a surprise because I've had a look at it a few times *outside* and not been able to split it at all. I can only conclude there is magic glass in my slider. ;)

Dawn's coming on now; looks like it will be a nice, if cold, sunny day.

If +4°F is "tropical", I'd probably hate the cold days. :lol:
