I really like the idea of independent focusing of each eyepiece too.
If I hadn't already purchased my Olympus binoculars I would have purchased a pair of APM based on your report.
Don't get me wrong though, the Olympus are good Binos, but a personal recommendation is much better than reading a review from an unknown source.
Nikon D82 Fieldscope with 30x/45x/56x angled eyepiece.
Olympus DPS-1 10x50 binoculars.
Leica 8x32BN binoculars.

Re: Binoculars First Light
The sun lounger will be a useful and welcome addition to this beautiful instrument, for a tripod usually reduces mobility and ease of use a lot already. I use it a lot in my backyard too.
Quite impressive for a 11 times magnifying instrument. Pure quality! Then on to Jupiter. My lack of tripod and binocular viewing skills made me wonder if I needed a focus readjustment. Jupiter was clearly a disc but not completely circular, but I could see two moons. Turns out, after a later look at Stellarium, I had seen Io and Calisto. The odd disc shape was Ganymede and Europa in a very close conjunction.
I enjoyed your report.
Thanks for sharing and congratulations on the
