as having nothing better to do, I have pointed the Leica APO Televid 82mm towards the Moon.
And la luna has offered a fairly good view of the Rupes Recta, even if its contrast has not been the best so far I can remember.
Surprisingly, the Lunar "X" feature has been emerging as a thin cross of white lines, slowly getting thicker and brighter,
My favourite Clavius has been still biting the darkness.

I just heard about Rupes Recta for the first time the other day, it was recommended by SkySafari. No way I'd be able to check it out this month, but maybe in the near future.
And I really would like to see the X as well!
