I dont know if its just my imagination but the last few years has been much windier here in OZ. Im just south of Sydney in NSW and in years gone by we just had a week or so of big westerlies in September and in summer we always looked forward to the big southerlies that swept up the coast in the hot afternoons, but its all different now, besides the appalling light polution ,it is cloud and wind thats spoils my viewing and now of course cold and rain haha . When I first moved into this house nearly 40 yrs ago, my garden hose would freeze up on the front lawn and big white frosts were common most winters, and every few yrs we could see snow up on the mountains, and take the kids up to robertson to play in the snow but thats a pretty rare thing now... And summers were just hot every day, if it got up to 40c in our workshop we could go and sit in the crib room for a while haha And that was a big thing ! Because they run that place like a prison camp back then ...but its different weather every week now..KingNothing13 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 3:44 pm Yuck.
