Meteor Stream

Post by Groovy2 »

changed to favorite location 3 days ago - clear view of sky -
Durango Co -

North sky 50% up 23.30 to 1am ish -

On video seeing meteor stream - Very active -
23.40pm seeing 30plus meteors a minute ish -
most moving west to east -some going up/down

Very Quick speed- Most only last split second each -
some larger meteors mixed in -

highest overall activity seems to be 11.30pm to 12.15 am -
checked to see if it could be satellites and its not -
doses not look like satellites and Way to many -
watched on normal speed and more meteors than i can count - stream -

Looks somewhat similar to meteor stream recored a month ish ago -

these are not bright - tried to bump up video to make easier to see
on online video but just to dim -

last night cloudy but recorded 2 Large Fireballs 10 minutes apart -
240am 250am
looked to be size of Full moon - Very Bright -

lite to medium cloud cover at time -
Clouds likely made look bigger diameter - were very bright tho -

also a few days ago on Cloud time lapse video it looks
like captured a Daytime meteor - not 100% sure yet -

Have not seen this on cloud video before - surprised me -

it was Bright - lasted half second ish -
have not had chance to look at video closely yet - Jay
