I have spent a few observing sessions with this comet, and here is a pic I took on the 13th July from our backyard,
The best view I have had has been through the Leica APO 82mm Televid spotting scope, with the ultrawide asph zoom 25x - 50x.
The comet has revealed a nearl point-like very bright core at the bottom of the dusty tail.
The bifurcation of the tail, as seen in the photos, has been hardly visibly visually.
The comet is expected to offer the best views on the 14th through 19th July.

It confirms that the bifurcation of the tail is subject to changes. (not a real surprise of course)
In observations done on the 10th and 11th of July by several visual observers here in the Netherlands ( including myself), this bifurcation was visible in the first 3 degrees of the dust-tail. On the 10th stronger than than on the 11th. Photographically this dark lane seemed to be overexposed.( not a real surprise either)
Visually no more than 3,5 degrees of the tail was visible, which seemed to be only 1/4 of the total photographical length. Farther away from the first 3 degrees this dark lane seemed to dissolve and became one. On photographs a weak blue gas-tail was visible too.
Refractors in frequency of use : *SW Evostar 120ED F/7.5 (all round ), * Vixen 102ED F/9 (vintage), both on Vixen GPDX. GrabnGo on Alt/AZ : *SW Startravel 102 F/5 refractor( widefield, Sun, push-to), *OMC140 Maksutov F/14.3 ( planets). Most used Eyepieces: *Panoptic 24, *Morpheus 14, *Leica ASPH zoom, *Zeiss barlow, *Pentax XO5. Commonly used bino's : *Jena 10X50 , * Canon 10X30 IS,*Swarovski Habicht 7X42, * Celestron 15X70, *Kasai 2.3X40 Rijswijk Public Observatory: * Astro-Physics Starfire 130 f/8, * 6 inch Newton, * C9.25, * Meade 14 inch LX600 ACF, *Lunt. I have been trying to spot this beauty, but so far clouds have been my only sightings.
