I looked at both these showpieces in Scorpius last evening with my 6 inch f/8 triplet. Used the new 6mm Delos for 203x. Both the close pairs showed as "thin waisted peanut" shapes due to seeing.
Nu Sco m 4.35, 5.31, sep 1.3" at PA 2. Second pair m 6.6, 7.23 , sep 2.4" at PA 56. The pairs are about 41" apart at PA 337.
Xi Sco .m 4.87, 5.16, sep 1.1" at PA 10. Third star, m 7.3, sep 7.5" at PA 43 as measured from the A component.
Also:
68 Her, aka STT 328. m 4.8, 10.3, sep 4.5" at PA 59. Before looking up the PA, I estimated 60 deg. This double was somewhat difficult. 203x
Double and multiple star observer. Over 3,500 unique pairs logged.
I got out for a few last night, but it was so hot and humid - my eyepiece was fogging up - that I called it - no point in getting frustrated.
