Apertura

Post by Don Alvarez »

I noticed in browsing recently that Apertura seems to have come a long way in a years time in terms of product offerings. They started with a line of only a few GSO dobs, now it seems they have a Synta made line as well along with some OTA's including a couple of APO refractors! Of course that on top of the usual array of rebranded accessories.

Good news for astronomers because I know the GSO made stuff usually represents good quality at a lower price point, for example the 6" F5 reflector - Meade makes a similar OTA but it doesn't have the crayford focuser and costs about $100 more. Does anybody know who makes the APO's? They sure look handsome with that Apertura logo on them.

Nothing wrong with a 60mm at least they made it look good :)
