Two Binoculars On One Parallelogram Mount

#1

Post by Refractordude »

While deciding on what tripod for my for my 7x50, and waiting for my refund/replacement 20x80s to arrive. I came up with this, and it works real good. The only problem is there is no room for my red dot finder, but that is OK. These are wide angle 8x40 and 7x50 binoculars. I will use the same cross bar combo on the tripod with a Farpoint binocular mount to attach a red dot finder.

Put the RD on the bar in the middle, you should be able to get it close enough that it will work or just mount it on one set and tweak the other set to match alignment.

Looks good: now all you need is two heads... ;)

I agree with Gabby: just use some double-sided tape to mount it. lots of spots where it could fit that way.

have fun!
