A couple of bino accessories

Caseling hard case for 15x70 skymaster binos
A lot of people here have the Skymaster 15x70 binos, which comes with a terrible case. I keep my binos in a astro tote, and was forever having the objective caps get detached while moving things around. This case fits the 15x70 perfectly and there is room for the tripod adapter. They call it a hard case, which I suppose it is, but not hard enough for me. The top flexes, so if you drop something heavy on it, chances are good it will damage the binos. But for its price it is very convenient for storage and short trips. For better protection one of those Harbor Freight apache cases with foam would be better.

Bino Bandit If you are observing from light polluted areas like me, stray light entering your eyes from the sides is a big problem. I have 4 or 5 bright lights in my face. The T shirt over my head works well for scopes, but not as well for binos. This works quite well, although turning the diopter ring can get a little painful. One of these days I will try to dissect one of those 3D VR headsets and see if I can stick them on a bino, but until then this will do.

That would be very useful. I have the 15 x70's and the Skymaster soft case needs an upgrade. I always feel like an accident is only a stone's throw away.
