Opticron Oregon 8x25s Mini-review

#1

Post by pakarinen »

My wife wanted a pair of ultra-light, small, roof prisms for birding and wildlife, so I got her a pair of Opticron 8x25s. I wasn't expecting much when I took them out for a quick look last night, but I have to say I was impressed. I prefer 10x, I think, but these have nice, sharp optics and the Hyades were just banging. Very easy to focus also.

If you're looking for a small pair that will *almost* fit in your pocket, I'd suggest having a look at these. $75 on Amazon.

Standard disclaimer applies - I like my coffee cold and eat Nutella straight from the jar, so you know that boy ain't quite right...
