These Zhumells Are Good
Celestron sent me another pair of Zhumells. However, they are much different than the dysfunctional pair I returned. The new Zhumell 20x80 binoculars have better eye relief and contrast. I could see the difference in color between the Albireo doubles. I could actually see a hint of green in the smaller star. I moved right/south and all the Coathanger cluster of stars were pin points. These binoculars are not expensive, but they need to be mounted. I have them on a parallelogram mount that cost three times the price of the binoculars, but worth. With the parallelogram mount I can sit down and relax into an object. I live under bortle 9 skies, but these Zhumells really pull in the stars. These are great budget binoculars, but they must me mounted. They should be purchased form Amazon with a three year warranty. My neighbors motion detector light is working properly again, which is super great. The light will stay off 99 percent of the time.
