Mount
I have a new Esprit 80, 50 ED guidescope on a HEQ5 mount. I cannot figure out how to mount my guidescope. There seems to be way too much movement on the one screw connector for the stock finder. Help please, I’m heading to Yellowstone in two weeks and want to use it. Any advice, hardware, is greatly appreciated

Re: Mount
i'm guessing edog,s main scope is the esprit 80 , with a 50mm guidescope something like this with a single thumb screw against a dove tail .

the esprit for reference .

do you have a local astro shop where you could get rings/dove tail bars ectt ?
you want something like this , but if you're running out of time, have you tried just giving the single screw a good nip with some plier ?
https://optcorp.com/products/parallax-s ... 4-od-tubes
some users scopes over at cn

a side by side setup

edit:op, you're imaging or doing visual ?
