iOptron CEM60 - what's going on?

#1

Post by turboscrew »

I saw this announcement on AstroShopp's web page: "This product is no longer stocked and therefore cannot be purchased until further notice."
and iOptron's web page says: "Availability:: Unavailable".

Is that temporary, or is iOptron dropping the product?

They are both replacing it with CEM70 and the Chinese factory is a bit sluggish and backed up.

I wish I knew that the CEM70 was coming out just a month after I bought my CEM 60. Oh well. I'm wondering if I should return my CEM 60 to get the 70?
