CG4 on a photo tripod?

#1

Post by pakarinen »

Anybody know if you can put a CG4 on a photo tripod (3/8-in)?

I put my TW1 on a Manfrotto 475B and I much prefer it to the TW1 stock pod. Probably should sell the pod since it's just taking up space in my basement.

Thanks!

You would need an adapter plate to go from 3/8x16 thread on tripod to what I believe is 10mm mount hole on cg-4 (I would double check the 10mm as I might be wrong). Berlebach use to make an adapter and may still but they are a little pricey.
