C5 controller?

#1

Post by Billd »

I have an older C5 that needs a new hand controller for the CG3 mount, and wall plug in. Is there any way I can adapt a newer one? Or find a used one? Celestron says they no longer offer that part, which is a bit surprising.

You can try here: https://telescopes.net/93515-motor-driv ... ounts.html

If this is not available or you want dual motors, email FirstlightOptics in UK and see if their Skywatcher motors will fit your mount.
Accessories are more available in EU/ UK than NA.
