This is why you do not image using a diagonal, it can introduce more issues.

my camera is 15mp and a 100% crop shows approximately the magnification that I would see visually at about 70x to 90x magnification
adding a barlow reveals just a bit more detail than without. but the image is dramatically darker. so I dont think I get enough benefit of using more magnification at all. it'd be much better if I just had a bigger telescope with a longer focal length
The longer the focal length the longer the exposure required, shorter focal ratios are better for imaging.

I really have my eye on a 102mm meade refractor telescope. would be really nice to have the higher quality. more aperture. and MASSIVELY BETTER focuser (looks to be capable of directly attaching to camera without a 1.25 adapter) so no chance of vignetting and much more light gathering ability.
but the price went up so i'll need to wait for a sale or something.
You will likely still need a T-ring adapter to attach the camera to the telescope

I'm not using the diagonal with the camera! it wont reach focus that way.

but I cant use an eyepiece in it without the diagonal because it also wont reach focus without it

I have a t adapter and a few various adapters for it that i can use

If you want to do image through the eyepiece you can buy a adapter that holds the camera at the proper distance, certain eyepieces such as the Baader Hyperion are designed to attach to your camera and then be inserted into the focuser tube.

I already have an eyepiece projection adapter. but that gives INSANELY BLURRY images. like 50 times fuzzier than without. and theres quite noticable vignetting if I dont have it set "zoomed in" a ways. not worth it. its blurry whether I use a 32mm eyepiece or 10mm eyepiece.
something about the eyepiece focusing for an eye and not a flat camera sensor is making it have really fuzzy edges. so i have to use camera directly attached. no eyepiece no extra lens. which gives me the closest thing to a "sharp-ish" image

heres a test image showing with and without baffling. identical exposure and iso. nothing else changed. is the reduced image brightness worth the IMMENSE increase in contrast and color quality?
All I did was add a baffle about in the middle of the focuser tube. a ring/circle to block the glare off the inner sides of the focuser tube
