This is the usual way that many use to find objects. The Telrad alone is not very useful in LP skies if you cannot see many stars. The RACI alone is not very useful because it is diffcult to figure out where you are. However with a RACI a Telrad is overkill. A Red Dot Finder with a RACI would do as well if you are price sensitive.

A cheap solution would be
GSO 8x50 RACI ($58.95) : https://agenaastro.com/gso-8x50mm-right ... inder.html
RDF ($11.95) : https://www.ebay.com/itm/Red-Dot-Finder ... 3207535895
Bracket to Mount both ($12.93): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fixed-Three-Sl ... 4543261427

You could replace the RDF and Bracket with a Telrad or Rigel. On a Dob it is good to get risers with a Telrad. There are cases when the circles of a Telrad can come in handy, it is built better than a common RDF, more dimmable, and takes regular batteries instead of the button cells of a RDF.
