Right now I'm storing my eyepieces, diagonals, and electronics in half a dozen small dry boxes and lock-n-locks with desiccant packs. I keep the OTAs in either a bag or box to reduce dust.
Being moderately OCD, everything is sorted by size and function.

I've looked at a few briefcase size organizers but I find I only take out the same five or six items when I set up a scope.

So how do you folks manage your gear? I would think there is a better way than my mini-warehouse operation.

Apache pluck foam cases from Harbor Freight, Sterilite plastic tub with padding for my ST120. Probably should whip up a wooden case or something for that unless I can find a plastic toolbox that's long enough.

I don't put my tripods in cases or bags. Maybe I should. Some use musical instrument or mike stand bags/ cases. Haven't really shopped for one.

We don't like king size pillows so I use the excess pillowcases for some of the OTAs and tripods to keep the dust down.

I've looked at the apache cases but I know as soon as I get one, I'll buy a bit that won't fit in it.

Each telescope has a set of eyepieces that work well in it so those are in a specific case,
accessories are telescope specific as I do not mix and match for the session and I leave them attached to the telescope.
General purpose equipment like heaters or tripod leg lights and such are in their own cases.
I do rotate through eyepieces though as some are better for specific objects than others so I have smaller cases to deal with these depending on if a session at home or out of town.

Still working on storage but for moving the gear around, this grocery cart I borrowed from a friend on Saturday held two newt's with room to spare for tools and a tablet.
Folds up for travel too.
