Message: 'Can't read the Image'

I recently started getting the message 'Can't read the image' when I was trying to image M-51. I have never had that happen before. I have taken a few pictures with
some success. Now I can't get anything. I am using a SkyWatcher 120 APO, using Astrophography Tool, and Phd2. All was working 2 weeks ago but now I can't get a
single frame! Does anyone know what I may have done to cause this?

I get that occasionally with my ASI294MC and I have to restart the camera to clear it which is always a worry for someone like me, with my thermal shock fears! The only thing I have noticed is that it happens after a settings change but I haven't tried to investigate, not wanting to reproduce the symptoms again!

When have you noticed this happen?

And welcome to the forum.

Regards

Graeme

It might be a ZWO thing. Now and then I get an error from my imaging software NINA & SGP about failed download of image, So I don't think its your APT. But what you may want to do is goto ZWO website and download the latest drivers they have. Also one thing you may want to look into is getting a couple of shielded USB cables. But this is all stemming if you are using a ZWO camera or some other brand camera.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most! :tease:
