Post count

What's the post count before my posts can be submitted without review? I tried to find it in a help file. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. It's good to be here. Now if only the skies would cooperate.

Hi,

Right now the minimum number of posts is set to 10. This was done in an effort to stave off spammers and bots.

The post count limit is pretty much the tail end of our stop to spammers. We have a number of features on the front end that are pretty much invisible to the user. As with any forum we get hit pretty hard from the spam bots (50 plus a day most days more), but here on TSS there is no interaction from the Co-Admin team. It's all automatic. The other steps are just double checks if one gets past the gate.

It's a real PITA to have to resort to all of this but in today's world it's a necessary evil.
