2 inch vs 1.25 inch eyepice for wide views

Great choice! I have the ES68 24mm and 16mm and they are amazing. Easily my 2 most used EP's. :D

That's good hear, omeek!

Still waiting for the ES 24mm/68 to arrive. It was "in stock" at Astronomics when I ordered it, but it's been crickets since then. Something tells me it was in stock...at the factory in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.

Eagerly looking forward to trying it out nonetheless.

As you use different eyepieces you will most likely find a AFOV that is the most comfortable for you.
68°-74° is about as much as I like to deal with.

I think you are right LF. I already enjoy the 68 degree ES 16mm a lot. Probably my most used eyepiece as it feels just right.

My favorites are between 25°-52° with 68° as my most common wider fields.

After trying several formats, my favorite is also ~70 deg.
