Camera match for 102mm refractor?

Will the ZWO 533 MC Pro match up well with a 102mm 714 or 564 focal length telescope for imaging?
My scope is TS Optics Photoline 102mm 714fl, and with the recommended reducer it is 564fl
I did the calculations of pixels/focal length x 206 formula;
714fl is 1.08
564fl is 1.37
I think I am supposed to be between 1 and 2 for optimal performance, is that correct?

Have you used the CCD suitability calculator on this website, if not get familiar with it. It is very handy.

I have been playing with that most of the day. I was actually just about to add to this thread that I am "not" going to get the 533 and I am now leaning towards the ASI294MC Pro for framing and resolution...I think.

That site also convinced me to get the 294 over the 533. Just thought you should know.

The 533 will work, I don't like the fact that it's a square sensor, Have a look at the 2600, It's an APC sensor and should work great for you.

However, my wife let me get it on the condition that when it comes next week, after I inspect it, she is going to wrap it up for my Christmas present. I agreed to it because I also bought a new that new TS Optics APO Photoline 102mm refractor... with the same conditions.

Me too! My 294 was procured a month before my birthday! Good job the July skies were poor, there might have been a revolt!

The 533 should work great, but it has a square sensor, depending you your budge, you may want to look at the asi2600 .
