I just found this thread and bookmarked it. Looks like I might be buying a scope and holding off on larger binoculars. I have the money today to buy one of these packages, so I will be investing in research time on the subject. :D

I haven't read every post, but in order to replace default EPs, I should get low, medium and higher EPs, correct? Like 25mm, some sort of a medium, and a 4mm ?

Well I have to say, I am the embodiment of that virtue. I have waited 4 years for a scope, if I don't buy one soon, I may as well use paper towel spindles.

That's basically what many people do, but it does depend on your scope.
