Does anyone have the instructions on how to properly align this little guy? I've made a short video explaining my dilemma.

Can you state what your issue is?
I really have no desire to watch videos on youtube.

You have the right idea, the NCP (Northern Celestial Pole)needs to stay at the center when you rotate around RA. The polar scopes that I know have adjustment screws that will help you do that. That star triangle may be meant for the Southern hemisphere.
