Not sure where to post this but, I have a Stellarmate pro with the temp sensor but where is the best place for the sensor as I want the dew bands to heat up before any dew forms. Anyone advise please.
Hello Ziggyboy. I moved your Topic to the Other Accessories section.
My Pegasus bower Box Advanced is strapped to the observatory pier and the cable to the temperature/humidity sensor is only 300mm in length so the sensor also sits on the pier. It does an excellent job supporting the Dew Heater controller.
As long as your sensor is nearish the dew shield heater and in a position where it is unaffected by any other heat sources, I would say put it where ever is convenient.
