My new UHC filter!
Look at the transmittance numbers on this baby, can't get any better than this!

As you know emission nebulae emit at certain wavelengths of light, some have strong OIII, some H-beta and some both emissions. UHC/narrowband filter passes both OIII and H-beta and blocks most other bands, so it is the most universal filter for emission nebulae (diffusion nebulae like North America or Orion's, planetary nebulae like the Ring or Dumbbell and supernova remnants like Veil). So if you to have just one nebula filter that should be narrowband. On my filter will I have UHC, OIII, H-beta and broad band/light pollution filter to cover all scenarios.
Since narrowband nebula filters block most of light it becomes important that for the bands they do pass you get as much transmittance as possible. ~90% and above considered very good, ~95% - excellent, and getting ~97% across three bands it is like winning the lottery.
