Saddle adapter ?

Is there an adapter to take a "V" saddle mount to a "D" saddle mount configuration for use with the losmandy rail?

ADM Accessories sells Vixen as well as Losmandy sized plates as well as adapters and dual plates for many different mounts.

I have one of their dual plates for my Vixen SXP mount.

Not sure, but on most mounts you can replace Vixen clamp with Losmandy. Typically, Vixen clamps are attached to the mount with a couple of bolts. This is a dual style (V and D) clamp which should fit most the mounts

Thank you Gabby.
I have been looking there but I am not sure how to configure. I guess I need to call them and tell them what I am trying to do.

I want to mount a 10 inch sct and I am concerned about using a vixen because it only uses two screw mounts from the OTA. The losmandy uses 4 screws as I understand it.

I will get in contact with those folks.

Thanks again Gabby.

I went through the same process in preparation for 11" SCT arrival. It came with Losmandy plate so I have replaced the Vixen style clamp on my SW Skytee mount with the Stellarvue dual style clamp. It worked out nicely (except for the dead 11" SCT of cause). The new clamp fits securely my 8" SCT with V plate and 11" SCT with D plate.

10 4 Andrey.
I am looking forward to driving that 10 inch scope if for no other reason than the educational value.

But no matter how I may philander with reflectors the refractor is my true love. :-)

Up to 6" - refractors all the way! Above that SCT is my preferred design.
