do you believe in anti-vibration pads?

I don't have pads, but I've read a few discussions about them. My takeaway is that their usefulness depends on set-up / equipment and the base that your scope is sitting on.

I observe mainly from my deck, so I might try some washing machine pads. There are a couple threads out there by ppl who've made their own, but for $15-$20, I'll order from AMZ or check my local Ace Hardware.

Hi all. I am with JayTee on this. I use similar furniture pads from Lowe's with my XLT150R on CG4 mount. They are much cheaper and do the job quite well. I hope this helps.
