Earlier this year I purchased a new C11. I have it on a CGX mount. I've been seeing the adds for Bob's Knobs and it brought a couple of questions to mind.
1) Do many of you use them? If so have then been helpful? They certainly look useful for an SCT.
2) I read that some C11s have standard threads and some have metric threads. I got the impression that new ones all have metric threads. Does anyone know if that is correct? Is there a way of knowing without taking the adjustment screw out and examining it?

I would contact Bob's Knobs, they would know which ones will fit.
Then Follow the instructions to a T when installing!
Some folks love them, so do not.
I think it depends on your personality.
If you like fiddling with stuff, even a little OCD, you will love them!
For me, I only collimate every 6 months, so I can live without them.
YMMV

I need to collimate my C11 so infrequently that Bob's knobs are not needed. If it was a Newt and I was tweaking it before every session then yes but it's an SCT and I can go years between collimations. By the way, I own a set and have never installed them. Next time I collimate my scope maybe.
